Shop Around the World
*** Canceling August 22nd Bazaar ***
We’ve waited until the latest NOAA National Hurricane Center update, 4pm EST, to make our final decision. Although the forecast has slightly improved again for NYC it still has, at this point, a too high-risk factor. Therefore, we are sadly canceling tomorrow’s bazaar.
The Shop Around the World event is one of our favorite events of the year as it is always very colorful and has great energy! Having to cancel it is a bit heartbreaking but it’s the right thing to do considering the current projections. We know that the weather forecast can change within 12 hours or less, which we have many times experienced before. As much as we would like to be positive that it will all be fine the potential risk is not worth it though. There are just too many looming larger risk factors at this point.
Once again, we’re sad to have to cancel tomorrow’s bazaar but we don’t want to put anyone at risk. We hope everyone stays safe!
